Curt Hawkins To Make WrestlePro Alaska Debut In September
Curt Hawkins has his first Independent date booked.
WrestlePro Alaska announced that Curt Hawkins — billed as Brian Myers — will be part of their September 19 event in Anchorage. The event will be held at the Dena’ina Center.
No opponent has been announced.

Hawkins was released by WWE as part of the company-wide cutbacks on April 15. He previously wrestled for WrestlePro during his last Independent run in 2016 before re-signing with WWE.
WrestlePro owner Kevin Matthews announced in April that the promotion would stop running events until September due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Zack Ryder, who teamed with Hawkins in WWE, previously stated that he wouldn’t take Independent bookings during the pandemic as he didn’t want to disappoint fans if events were canceled.
