– Vengeance Day kicked off with a weaponized cage match between Pete Dunne and Tony D’Angelo. When all was said and done, it was Dunne who walked away victorious. 

– Despite their best efforts, Indi Hartwell and Persia Pirotta were not able to dethrone Toxic Attraction’s Jacy Jayne and Gigi Dolin as NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions. 

– A vignette was shown in which Raquel Gonzalez helps train Cora Jade ahead of the Women’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic.

– Wendy Choo is looking for a partner for the Dusty Cup but is unsure if Dakota Kai will accept her offer or not.

– Because he violated the terms of the restraining order he filed, Grayson Waller was not able to have LA Knight arrested. In fact, the order was deemed null and void, allowing Knight to attack Waller. They will face off in the ring next week.

– Behind the back of her friend, Persia Pirotta left NXT Vengeance Day with Duke Hudson.

– Carmelo Hayes defeated Duke Hudson to successfully retain the NXT North American Championship.

– The Creed Brothers dethroned MSK to win the 2022 Men’s Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. They have now earned themselves a Tag Team Title Match against Imperium.

– Nikkita Lyons is set to make her NXT debut next week.

– Despite interference from Dolph Ziggler, Bron Breakker was able to defeat Santos Escobar and retain the NXT Championship. Ziggler and Tommaso Ciampa will face off next week with both men aiming for Breakker and his title.
