Cora Jade Names Her Dream Opponents In WWE
Cora Jade wants to work with some of the pioneers of WWE’s Women’s Evolution.
Cora Jade is part of NXT 2.0 but names like Sasha Banks and Bayley built NXT to the global brand it became. Because of this, Sasha and Bayley have inspired a whole new generation of women’s wrestlers just as names like Trish Stratus and Lita inspired them in the past.
Speaking on El Brunch de WWE, Jade named Sasha Banks and Bayley as some of the main people she would like to have a chance to get in the ring with as well as some of the more recent graduates of the NXT system.
“One would be against Sasha Banks, definitely. She is another person I was watching when I was wanting to be a wrestler and Bayley, like the TakeOver matches with her and Bayley are some of my favorites, and just watching them at the time, it just inspired me so much more and made me want to be here so much more.
“Watching those matches definitely had a big impact on my motivation, forcing me to work harder because I knew that I wanted to be here. But yeah, I’d say Sasha or — I have so many, so another one would probably be Bianca Belair, Rhea Ripley. Yeah, I have so many so I’ll go on a rant if I try to name them all but those are definitely some of my — some people I watch and I am inspired by.”
Elsewhere in the interview, Cora Jade spoke about wanting to enter the WWE Royal Rumble this year. Learn more about that here.
