Conan O’Brien And Andy Richter Trained In Lucha Libre And It’s Just As Loco As It Sounds

Conan O'Brien has never been afraid of doing some seriously silly stuff.

The man has no shame.

It's why his fans love him so.

Case in point, these videos from a recent episode of his TBS show, shot on location in Mexico City, where Conan and his trusty sidekick Andy Richter trained to be luchadors, under the tutelage of exotico extraordinaire, Cassandro.

Conan chose the character of El Gallo Loco, which means "The Crazy Rooster" in Spanish.

Richter went with El Bebe Malo, which means "The Bad Baby" …

… just in case you were wondering at the level of comedy we're dealing with here.

And actually, the guys didn't fare too poorly.

Someone taught Conan how to do a hip toss and he spammed the shit out of it, and Richter actually nailed a pretty decent flying cross body onto like five dudes.

You can watch the entire segment above, and if you click this link, it takes you to a pretty neat behind the scenes look at how it all came together.

I just hope that AAA doesn't try to hold things up in trademark court, so we can see El Gallo Loco and El Bebe Malo in Lucha Underground by Season 4.
