Colt Cabana Says He Will Not Be At WWE Survivor Series In Chicago
Before the rumor mill gets out of control, Chicago wrestling star Colt Cabana has confirmed that he will not be at WWE Survivor Series in Chicago.
Cabana appeared on Bakers Bantering, a podcast hosted by siblings Jenna, Derek, and Katy Baker, when he was asked by Derek, a young wrestling fan with Down syndrome, if he would be at WWE Survivor Series.
“He asks the hard questions, and that’s why he’s the number one podcaster in St. Louis, I respect it. Derek, yes, WWE is coming to Chicago for Survivor Series, but for the past four years, AEW has also been in Chicago the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. I’m hoping that AEW continues that tradition, I assume we will, I will not be appearing at Survivor Series, but I will be at AEW in Chicago because I am contracted and that is my boss and they pay me money to show up,” he said with a laugh.
Cabana took the question in stride and is friends with the family, previously inviting them backstage to an AEW event and discussing possibly getting back together for pizza in Chicago.
WWE Survivor Series is scheduled for November 25 in Chicago. While not officially announced, if tradition holds, AEW would be in Chicago on November 22 for AEW Dynamite.
