Cody Rhodes vs. Shawn Spears Official For AEW All Out, Updated Card
Shawn Spears gets his wish.
It was a foregone conclusion but now it’s official. Cody Rhodes will meet Shawn Spears at AEW All Out. The two men signed the contract on the latest episode of Road To AEW All Out. The rivalry between the two began prior to AEW Fyter Fest when Cody referred to Spears as “a great hand” and thought Spears was more of a player/coach. Spears responded by waffling Cody with an unprotected chair shot at Fyter Fest. The chair shot gashed Cody on the back of his head, leading him to get 12 stitches.
Since then, Spears has introduced Tully Blanchard as his advisor, putting a new twist on the storied Blanchard vs. Rhodes rivalry. Blanchard will be in Spears’ corner at All Out and Cody is allowed one member of his entourage in his corner.
With Spears vs. Rhodes official, here’s a look at the updated card for All Out.
