Cody Rhodes Undergoes Successful Knee Surgery
Cody Rhodes is doing well after surgery.
On Jan. 31, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer reported that Cody would be undergoing knee surgery on Feb. 12. The surgery is expected to keep him out of action for two to three months. Cody revealed in November that he suffered a meniscus tear that would require a scope but held off in order to compete at ROH Final Battle in December and Wrestle Kingdom 13 in January. Cody has not wrestled since Jan. 4 at Wrestle Kingdom 13 when he lost the IWGP US Title to Juice Robinson.
Cody revealed on social media that he could no longer put off surgery as he couldn’t afford another bad match.
Surgery is a must, I can’t afford to have another stinker like the dome match. https://t.co/RYCIl4xAQK

A new Road to Double or Nothing, which takes fans into the AEW offices of Cody, is scheduled to premiere tonight, Feb. 12, at 7 p.m. ET.
