Cody Rhodes: The Run We’ve Been On, I’ve Dreamed Of Since I Was A Little Kid
Cody Rhodes bet on himself when he left WWE in 2016 and bet on himself again when he left AEW, a promotion that he helped found, to return to WWE in 2022.
Cody Rhodes, thus far in this journey, has made it all the way to the main event of WrestleMania 39 and even though he failed to defeat Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at WrestleMania, Rhodes remains one of the most popular wrestlers in the entire promotion and continues to push ahead.
On Twitter, Cody stated that the run he’s been on is what he’s dreamed of since he was a young child.

With Cody Rhodes feeling so fulfilled by his current status in WWE, perhaps this is evidence that the true finish to the story is the memories we make along the way.
That is, of course, ridiculous, and Cody Rhodes has admitted that he intends to finish the story and the only way he can do that is by capturing the championship belt that carries the legacy of the WWE Championship his father failed to win.
Currently, that is still the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship, held by Roman Reigns for over 1,100 days.
Cody recently noted that his “story” is continuing to stand back up every time he gets knocked down.
Rhodes recently progressed towards finishing the story with his victory over Judgment Day’s Damian Priest at WWE Crown Jewel.
