Cody Rhodes Had Meeting Regarding Hollywood Roles, Won’t Go Part Time In WWE
Cody Rhodes could be headed to Hollywood. Or Vancouver, or wherever they film things these days.
Sources familiar with the situation claim that the WWE WrestleMania main eventer made the most of this time in Los Angeles and had some meetings regarding potential roles in film and television. There was discussion of him being linked or particularly interested in the Johnny Cage role in an upcoming Mortal Kombat movie, which The Miz has also been angling for. There was also discussion regarding a connection to a potential upcoming Zelda film.
Even prior to WWE, Rhodes had good connections to the TV and movie realm outside of wrestling. Cody Rhodes appeared on seven episodes of Arrow with Stephen Amell, as well as an episode of Warehouse 13. In addition, he’s appeared Go Big Show, Rhodes to the Top and WAGS Atlanta.
We’re told that he doesn’t plan on being a part-timer in wrestling, and any projects he does would go around his WWE schedule.
