Cody Rhodes goes back-to-back.
Cody Rhodes won the 2024 men’s Royal Rumble, last eliminating CM Punk.
Punk hit a pedigree and then set up for the GTS, saying he didn’t wait ten years to lose to Dusty’s kid. Cody countered the GTS by catching Punk’s knee and then grabbed him by the neck to toss him over the top rope.
Drew McIntyre and Gunther were part of the final four, but Punk managed to eliminate Drew while Cody eliminated Gunther shortly after

After the match, Cody pointed to Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns, who was watching the match from his box seat.
Rhodes won the 2023 men’s Royal Rumble, but lost to Roman Reigns in the main event of WrestleMania 39.
