Cody Rhodes has finished the story.
In the main event of WWE WrestleMania XL Night Two, Cody Rhodes defeated Roman Reigns in a Bloodline Rules match to win the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship. He ended Reigns’ remarkable reign at 1,316 days. Reigns defended it 31 times before he lost to Rhodes. This was the fourth-longest title reign in WWE history and the longest since 1988.
In a wild main event, Reigns and Rhodes battled it out. Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, and Solo Sikoa all interfered, and they were not alone. John Cena made his return as he took the fight to Sikoa by sending him through a broadcast table. Cena also hit Reigns with an Attitude Adjustment. The Rock came out and stared Cena down. He then planted Cena with a Rock Bottom.
