Cody Gives His Take On What Fans Can Expect When He & Kenny Omega Clash In The Squared Circle

The pressure is on according to Cody to have a great match with Kenny Omega.

This Saturday at Ring Of Honor Supercard Of Honor XII, the two head honchos of 'Bullet Club' Kenny Omega & Cody will do battle in the squared circle after months of built up tension which reached its boiling point on January 28th at NJPW's 'New Beginning' show in Sapporo. "The American Nightmare" stopped past Busted Open Radio with Dave LaGreca & Bully Ray to discuss what those in attendance and watching at home can expect from this main-event contest come April 7th.

Cody stated that there is a bit of pressure seeing as how Kenny Omega has had a/some amazing matche[s] with Kazuchika Okada and Chris Jericho, and simply the only thing to do is have a match that is better than both of those or all of this will have been for nothing.

"Some days I think its gonna be this athletic display and if you take these events surrounding the match, everything with Being The Elite, all the subsequent events that have led us to Supercard Of Honor… you know, if you take them out this is really just about two of the best professional wrestlers in the world and very different professional wrestlers meeting at this age for the very first time ever, and then other times I wake up and I think about all these events and people getting shoved in the Bullet Club infighting and I think about pageantry involved in this match, so, I really… I can’t tell ya’. Its going to be something in my whole third tier like you said Okada was you know, an athletic display, Jericho was a story:" Cody expressed. "I’m not sure what Rhodes and Omega is going to be. I can say, and this is question for you Dave [LaGreca], can you tell me one Kenny Omega match that besides Okada and Jericho that you’re a big fan of?"
