Cody Rhodes Challenges Brock Lesnar To A Match At WWE Backlash
Cody Rhodes wants Brock Lesnar at WWE Backlash.
The challenge was first made by Rhodes in a promo on the April 10 episode of Raw. Rhodes started off his promo by documenting where his focus has been throughout his WWE run, before noting that it is solely on Lesnar now. Rhodes went on and said that he knows Lesnar isn’t in town for Raw, prompting him to challenge ‘The Beast’ to a match at the upcoming Backlash premium live event.

Rhodes was first attacked by Lesnar on the April 3 episode of WWE Raw. After recruiting him for a tag team match against Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa, Rhodes was blindsided by Lesnar moments before the match started. Lesnar would then proceed to deliver multiple F-5’s to Rhodes, including one through the announce table and one on the steel ring steps.
It is currently unknown if or when Lesnar will accept Rhodes’ challenge for a match at Backlash.
