CM Punk Says He’s Happy For Cody Rhodes And ‘VERY’ Happy For Stone Cold Following WrestleMania 38

CM Punk is happy for all of those getting a second chance at professional wrestling today. He’s still not a big fan of Eddie Kingston though.

WrestleMania 38 Saturday featured Cody Rhodes returning to WWE successfully in a match with Seth Rollins and was headlined by a match between Kevin Owens and Stone Cold Steve Austin in what was Stone Cold’s first match in 19 years and could prove to be his very last ever.

The eyes of the wrestling world were on WrestleMania 38 Saturday and one person in particular who commented on this year’s festivities was CM Punk. CM Punk returned to wrestling in August 2021 after a seven-year layoff following his departure from WWE.

In his post-WrestleMania tweets, Punk addressed any idea that he may feel bitterness toward Kevin Owens and also addressed an incident involving him and Owens in the past.

Following that tweet, he expressed his happiness for Kevin Owens, Cody Rhodes, Stone Cold Steve Austin, and several other names, including himself, who have gotten a second chance at professional wrestling. He did stop in the middle of the Tweet to needle Eddie Kingston one more time, however.

CM Punk recently openly spoke about how important it is for him to have a second chance at wrestling and how much he wishes Bret Hart could have that chance. Read more here.
