CM Punk’s Very Nice, Evil Collision Hype, Wheeler Yuta Pins Kenny Omega | AEW Double Or Nothing Recap

Here is your fight size update following AEW Double or Nothing 2023. 

– While the event was still going on, CM Punk took to Instagram to hype AEW Collision. The event will take place at the United Center, and even though his return hasn’t been confirmed, he has now hyped the event using a poster of multiple Danhausens and Frank Miller’s The Dark Knight version of Batman. 

CM Punk used the same Batman model to hype his original AEW debut in 2021. 

– In a chaotic Anarchy in the Arena headlining match, Violent Idols played Wild Thing for the first portion of the match before Matt and Nick Jackson super kicked the lead singer. At the end of the match, Wheeler Yuta pinned Kenny Omega after Konosuke Takeshita attacked him. 

– The House of Black retained their AEW World Trios Titles over The Acclaimed & Daddy Ass. 

– Jade Cargill defeated Taya Valkyrie to get to 60 wins without a single loss… She then immediately lost the AEW TBS Championship to returning Kris Statlander. 

– Wardlow retained his TNT championship in a ladder match against Christian Cage. Arn Anderson even sunk his teeth into the fight. 

– FTR defeated Jeff Jarrett and Jay Lethal for the AEW World Tag Team Championship, and later in the evening, they saved Ricky Starks from a beat down by Bullet Club Gold. 

– Toni Storm regained the AEW Women’s World Title by defeating Jamie Hayter in a match that was overtaken by shenanigans. 

–  Adam Cole defeated Chris Jericho and an unsanctioned match. Now, they will meet and mixed tag team competition this Wednesday. Jericho will team up with Saraya, and Adam Cole teams up with his girlfriend, Britt Baker. 

– Orange Cassidy survived 20 men in a Blackjack Battle Royal to continue holding on to his AEW International Title. 

– Ethan Page’s Contract now belongs to the Hardys after their victory on the Buy-In alongside HOOK over Ethan Page and The Gunns.

– MJF retained the AEW World Title at AEW Double or Nothing, defeating Sammy Guevara, Darby Allin, and “Jungle Boy” Jack Perry in the Four Pillars four-way, pinning Darby with a side headlock.
