CM Punk On Facing KENTA At AEW-NJPW Forbidden Door: No

CM Punk has no interest in facing KENTA at AEW-NJPW Forbidden Door.

The two have gone back and forth on social media for years over Punk using KENTA’s Go 2 Sleep finisher. With AEW and NJPW set to combine for Forbidden Door on June 26, fans have started to name their dream matches for the supershow.

One of them is CM Punk vs. KENTA.

Unfortunately for fans, CM Punk doesn’t seem keen on the idea.

Speaking to Connor Casey of Comic Book, CM Punk was asked if a match against KENTA interested him.

“No,” Punk replied.

That settles that.

KENTA issued the following response on social media.

KENTA appeared on AEW TV, the first NJPW to open the forbidden door to AEW, during the pandemic, before Punk signed with AEW in August 2021.

Punk is set to challenge Hangman Page for the AEW World Championship at AEW Double or Nothing. Fans can check out the current lineup for the card by clicking here.
