CM Punk Believes A Secondary Title Run And A Feud With Andrade Should Be Next For Aleister Black
CM Punk gives his thoughts on what should be next for Aleister Black.
After Mick Foley recently tweeted that Black is one good feud away from ascending to the next level on the WWE ladder, CM Punk chimed in on the matter on WWE Backstage.
I think @WWEAleister is just one major feud away from making a big jump up the @WWE ladder….but the right opponent is everything! https://t.co/PMTp9d6e28

When asked on WWE Backstage on who should be that next feud, Punk responded by saying that a secondary title run should be next for him, specifically against United States Champion Andrade. Although Andrade is currently suspended for a WWE Wellness Policy violation, he is scheduled to wrestle at WWE Super ShowDown later this month.
“I think if he’s knocking on the door, Mick Foley says he’s knocking on the door, then he’s obviously knocking on the door. We got to go for a secondary title here. I think Andrade would be the guy to go after. Zelina Vega may or may not like that idea but I know she’s kind of building a stable here so I think that would be a good direction,” Punk said.

Black and Andrade share history in the ring together, most notably back in 2018 when the two faced off for the NXT Championship at NXT TakeOver: New Orleans, which Black won.
