CM Punk Appearance, Moxley & Danielson Tag Match, Adam Cole, Women’s Match Set For 3/23 AEW Dynamite
The Best In The World is back, the Moxley/Danielson pairing look to continue dominace over the tag division, and Leyla Hirsch will duke it out with Red Velvet once again.
CM Punk is set to return to AEW, while Bryan Danielson and Jon Moxley have yet another tag team bout on the 3/23 episode of AEW Dynamite. Leyla Hirsch and Red Velvet are also set to sqaure off in a singles match with Kris Statlander being banned from ringside.
In a tweet sent out by AEW today, Punk was confirmed to be appearing on the 3/24 episode of Dynamite. This will be the first live appearance that he has made on AEW programming since he defeated MJF in a brutal dog collar match at AEW Revolution on 3/6. MJF himself returned to the promotion last week, as he helped Scorpio Sky retain his TNT Championship in a title defense against Wardlow.
It is unknown why Punk has been absent from the company, but the recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter did recently confirm that Punk is set to reprise his role in the hit Starz pro wrestling drama Heels for Season two. Punk played the character Ricky Rabies in two episodes of Season One, which premiered last year. The show is currently filming Season 2 in Atlanta, Georgia.
