Claudio Castagnoli Wins ROH World Championship At Death Before Dishonor
Claudio Castagnoli has finally captured a major singles championship as he has dethroned Jonathan Gresham at Ring Of Honor Death Before Dishonor for the ROH World Championship.
With William Regal ringside for his Blackpool Combat Club member’s big match, Claudio was finally able to capture the big one in his first match under Tony Khan’s newly owned Ring Of Honor.
The match opened the main card of the ROH Death Before Dishonor PPV. It was explained that earlier in the day there was a coin toss to determine whether or not the tag titles or the ROH world title would go on the main event. After about a 13 minute match, Claudio struck Gresham with numerous elbows to the head and a sit down powerbomb to get the pin.
