Chris Sabin, Trey Miguel, And Moose Qualify For Number One Contenders Match At IMPACT Under Siege
The field for the No. 1 Contenders Match at Under Siege continues to fill out.
On the April 29 episode of IMPACT Wrestling, Scott D’Amore announced that the next challenger to Kenny Omega’s IMPACT World Championship would be decided in a six-way match at Under Siege. The contestants would be decided through six qualifying matches.
The first three men to earn their spots were Chris Bey, Matt Cardona, and Sami Callihan.
On May 6, the final three participants were decided. The action was kicked off with Chris Sabin facing Rhino. Sabin gained the upper hand early but was worked over after Violent by Design got involved and tipped the scales in Rhino’s favor. However, the Motor City Machine Gun fought back, earning the victory after catching the VBD member with a cradle pin.

Trey Miguel defeated Rohit Raju in the second qualifying match of the night. Both men had a number of near falls, but it was Miguel who picked up the win after locking in an armbar and getting Rohit to tap out. After the match, Jake Something appeared on the ramp and attacked Shera, who he faced earlier on Before The Impact.
James Storm versus Moose was the main event of the evening. Storm had several chances to put Moose away, even connecting with Closing Time and Last Call, but couldn’t follow up. Moose would eventually regain control and earn the victory. He would continue his assault on Storm after the bell. He completes the field for May 15th’s No. 1 Contenders Match.
