Chris Jericho Thinks PAC and Kenny Omega Had To Cut Stuff Because The Match Went Too Long
Chris Jericho discusses Kenny Omega vs. PAC.
On the latest episode of Talk is Jericho, AEW World Champion Chris Jericho took listeners behind the scenes of AEW All Out. Jericho went through the show match-by-match, giving his thoughts as he watched or listened from the backstage area. On the subject of Kenny Omega vs. PAC, Jericho revealed that both men weren’t pleased with their efforts when they got to the back.
“Afterwards, both Kenny and PAC were mad because I guess their match went too long and they ran out of time, so they had to cut a bunch of stuff,” said Jericho. “They were not happy about it. Meanwhile, it was like the best match on the show. They remind me so much of Eddie Guerrero and Chris Benoit in that these guys were putting on these amazing matches but they were always mad because something didn’t go right. They were always really hard on themselves for this. It’s impossible for Kenny Omega and PAC to have a bad match”
Omega vs. PAC received nearly positive reviews from fans in the arena and watching at home, though many were stunned by the outcome as PAC forced Omega to pass out with a submission. Omega was originally scheduled to face Jon Moxley at All Out, but a MRSA infection kept Moxley out of the match. PAC was named the replacement a week before the event.
Moxley vs. Omega has been rescheduled for AEW Full Gear. It was announced on Thursday that Jericho will defend his AEW World Title against Cody Rhodes at the event.
