Chris Jericho: If Talent Feels Undercompensated, Maybe You Aren’t As Good As You Think
Chris Jericho has seemingly weighed in on MJF’s situation.
On Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite, MJF addressed his issues with AEW and Tony Khan in a promo. MJF’s biggest point of contention was how ex-WWE wrestlers are paid more despite him carrying the company on his back and being a ratings draw. At the end of his promo, he begged Khan to fire him before calling him a “fucking mark,” which was bleeped out. The screen went black, going into commercial, and the segment was not mentioned again.
MJF has since been removed from the AEW roster and various media footprints.
Taking to social media, Chris Jericho posted the following tweet addressing MJF’s complaints about Khan and being underpaid.
For the record @AEW is the best sports entertainment company I’ve ever worked for & @TonyKhan is the best boss I’ve done business with. If certain talents feel they’re under compensated, maybe ur not as good as u think u are. Go elsewhere PLEASE. You’ll be begging to come back!
