Chris Jericho Feels Serena Deeb’s AEW Dynamite Performance Was So Good That She May Have Been Signed
Serena Deeb has been around professional wrestling for over a decade and she may have earned herself a spot in AEW.
Serena Deeb was one of the many names let go by WWE on Wednesday, April 15th, 2020. Prior to that, she was working as a coach at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. Before that, she was a competitor in the Mae Young Classic Tournament and is perhaps most known for being one of the members of CM Punk’s Straight Edge Society in 2010.
Prior to beginning his discussion with Thunder Rosa on the most recent episode of Talk Is Jericho, Jericho reveals that he is under the impression Serena was signed by AEW following her match with Rosa on the September 2 episode of Dynamite because of the quality of the match.
“[Thunder Rosa] had a hell of a debut on Dynamite last week in a great match against Serena Deeb. It got Serena signed actually, I believe,” Jericho said.
Jericho did not elaborate any further about Serena’s status with the company but in the past, he has provided some knowledge regarding these topics. He broke the news about Alex Reynolds and John Silver signing with the company. Serena did respond to all of the praise she received for the match in a recent tweet.
Your support is heard, felt, and appreciated. Thank you @AEWrestling for the platform to do what I love most in the world, and thank you to all who watched and enjoyed it. Can’t wait to do it again. pic.twitter.com/fwwfzNtufJ
