After coming to blows with Chris Jericho after his intense two out of three falls match with Bryan Danielson last week, Daniel Garcia is set to come face-to-face with the leader of the Jericho Appreciation Society on the August 24 edition of AEW Dynamite. The segment was made official via a Twitter post from AEW’s account earlier this afternoon:

Although he ultimately lost the critically acclaimed bout to Danielson on last week’s episode, Garcia received a standing ovation following the conclusion of the match along with chants of ‘You’re a wrestler’. Garcia would even go on to slap Jericho’s hand when the Fozzy lead man attempted to scold him after he stopped a further assault on Danielson post-match.
