Chelsea Green Reflects On Doing Mocap For WWE Video Games In The Past, Talks WWE 2K24 Inclusion
Chelsea Green talks WWE 2K24.
Chelsea Green is making her WWE Games debut in WWE 2K24. Chelsea has, however, played a major role in the making of WWE video games in the past. She recently revealed on Twitter that she wanted to know who did the motion capture for her in-game avatar because back in 2017, she did motion capture for WWE.
During an interview with Haley Miller of ComicBook, Green spoke about how her inclusion in this year’s video game feels like a full circle moment for her and also spoke more in-depth about the work she did for WWE video games in the past.
“It really is a full circle moment, that’s the perfect way to describe it. It’s such a cherry on top of the amazing year that I’ve already had coming into WWE and kind of taking off so quickly,” Green said. “In 2017 I did mocap [motion capture] in California for so many WWE Superstars and at the time I was doing it, I was so sad that I wasn’t part of the WWE roster or the NXT roster. So now looking back, I mean, one thing I will say is I am dying to know who did my mocap. I hope that they had fun with it because I know that when I was there doing it, it was so much fun to do Carmella’s moonwalk, and Valhalla’s tackle and Liv Morgan-isms and Sasha Banks-isms. All of these amazing performers, it was really a fun job to have so I would love to know who did mine and how much fun they had!”
This year’s video game is celebrating 40 Years of WrestleMania and that means, for the first time ever, celebrating the women’s accomplishments at WrestleMania. Fans can learn more about the WWE 2K24 Showcase Mode at this link.
Chelsea Green also recently spoke about why wins and losses don’t mean much to her. Read her comments here.
WWE 2K24 releases on March 8 for the general public and on March 5 for those who pre-order special editions of the game.
