Charlotte Flair Says A Wrestler That Could Retire Her ‘Doesn’t Exist Yet’
Charlotte Flair doesn’t believe someone that can retire her “exists yet.”
Charlotte Flair is already the subject of an A&E Biography: WWE Legends episode, but that does not mean that she is ready to consider
retirement in any way.
Recently, Madusa claimed she would like a retirement match against Charlotte Flair. When asked about who she would like to retire against, Flair told CBS Sports’ Shakiel Mahjouri that she hadn’t given it much thought as she sees her retirement match different than a passing of the torch and says that she believes the person who could retire her doesn’t even exist in the industry yet.
“It’s so hard because I don’t know what the landscape is going to look like,” she said. “There’s a difference from passing the torch and a retirement match. I don’t know, maybe — I don’t know if that person exists yet.”
Regarding being the subject of an A&E Biography episode, Flair joked that she feels like she’s being kicked out the door.
“I feel like we’re trying to push me out now. I’m not really sure. I feel like I haven’t even hit my prime yet or I’m just starting to get there,” said Flair. “I love saying in a promo that I’m a living legend, but I don’t feel like it. When I think of legend, I think of The Undertaker’s career. The status he’s at. It means retired and drinking pina coladas on the beach somewhere in Tulum.”
Speaking of The Undertaker, he recently stated that he would still be in the room today if he felt like he could live up to his own standards. Read more here.
