Charlotte Flair Feels That She’s Arguably The Most Hated Character In WWE At The Moment

Charlotte Flair chatted with a local media outlet while making her way to Ric Flair’s birthday bash.

Former 8-time WWE Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair is locked in for a slot on the WrestleMania 35 match card as she will take on Ronda Rousey for the RAW Women’s Championship. Tomorrow at Fastlane, Charlotte clashes with “The Man” Becky Lynch in a singles match and if Charlotte wins, her match versus Ronda at WrestleMania is set in stone but if Becky wins, she’ll be added to Charlotte and Ronda’s Mania matchup with the RAW Women’s Title hanging in the balance.

It still has yet to hit Charlotte that she could be in the main event of WrestleMania come April 7th and she shared that while speaking with ‘The Austin Chronicle’. Charlotte said that the fact that the women are the hottest topic in WWE at the moment and she’s arguably the most hated character in the company heading into the “Show Of Shows” makes her journey that much sweeter.

“I want to say its hit me, but it hasn’t yet,” she said. “Just the fact that the women are the hottest topic right now, and I’m arguably the most hated superstar at the moment — is exciting. I sometimes sit there thinking, man, how hectic it was getting used to the schedule and being on RAW and SmackDown, and just thinking, ‘Wow, I made it. I’m on the main roster’, and now to think where I am, it’s been an incredible journey.”

Charlotte Flair had some choice words for her WrestleMania 35 opponent after Ronda Rousey went on a rant about wrestling being scripted and how none of the women in the locker room can touch her. Charlotte Flair, fellow WWE superstars and those outside of the company responded to Ronda Rousey and to see some of those reactions, check out Fightful’s published article on the topic.
