This week also saw another vignette for Charlie Dempsey. Dempsey is the former Bailey Matthews and the son of William Regal. Dempsey said in his vignette that he was bringing an old-school style to NXT UK and that he was looking forward to teaching many stars of today about the old methods, beginning next week.
Additionally, a backstage segment that seemed to be a friendly discussion between Trent Seven, Olver Carter, and Ashton Smith about whether or not Booker T’s Book End was better than The Rock’s Rock Bottom ended with a tag team match officially being made for next week between Moustache Mountain and the team of Ashton Smith and Oliver Carter. Carter and Smith asked Trent Seven whether or not he wanted to inform Tyler Bate of this impending match that he had just agreed to and Seven played it off like it wouldn’t be a problem.
