Charity King Recalls Reaching Out To Jazz With Danni Bee For NWA Opportunity, Talks Billy Corgan

Charity King recalls landing a spot on an NWA show with Danni Bee.

On November 4, 2023, Charity King and Danni Bee made their debut for the NWA, as they teamed against Pretty Empowered (Ella Envy & Kylie Paige) in a match that was taped for television. The episode went on to air on November 14, allowing many fans to discover the duo of King and Bee.

While speaking to Women’s Wrestling Talk for a new interview, Charity King recalled messaging Jazz to ask how to work for the company.

“We both sent a message to Jazz in a group chat and we’re like, hey Ms. Jazz, we just want to know — and if the answer is no, that’s okay too. How can we get to NWA? She lets us know, here’s the email, you need to do X, Y, and Z. So we sent the requirements, we did what we needed to do, and it was dead silent. We didn’t hear nothing. Jazz said send it in, and honestly good luck.”

After not hearing from the company for a number of months, King noted that Jazz reached back out to them and told them that Billy Corgan wanted to fly them out to the next set of tapings.

“Then, Jazz put us in a group chat and was like, ‘I showed your video to Billy Corgan, he likes it. He’s going to try to fly you guys out.’ It still didn’t feel real. [We started] talking about flights, and we’re like, oh it’s real. Next thing you know, here’s your flight confirmation. Oh, that’s real. I still was like, they might cancel, I don’t know. [laughs] Then I’m on the plane like, they can’t cancel, I’m on the plane. This is real. That’s kinda how it happened. It just happened from me and Danni kind of believing in ourselves and being like, let’s do it. Like she said, the worst thing that they can say is no, and if they say no, just ask them what you’re missing or what do I need. Thankfully, Billy Corgan, he said yes. He liked us and he was like, let’s give y’all a shot and see what yall can do on the big stage.”

It is currently unknown if Charity King and Danni Bee will return to NWA. Fightful will update fans when more information is made available.
