Channing ‘Stacks’ Lorenzo Defeats Joe Coffey, Earns Tony D’Angelo’s Freedom On 7/11 WWE NXT
Tony D is free.
Per the previously agreed upon stipulations, Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo freed Tony D’Angelo from prison when he defeated Joe Coffey on the July 11 episode of WWE NXT.
While it had previously been thought that Stacks had betrayed Tony and made a deal with Coffey & Gallus, it was revealed during this match that it was all a ruse between Tony and Channing as now, Tony is free. They have a potential NXT Tag Team Championship match coming their way.
Bronco Nima & Lucien Price also made their presence felt during this match. They did not do anything of major consequence, but they did make their NXT debut by confronting the other members of Gallus on the outside of the ring.
Tony will make his return with a homecoming on July 18.
