Championship Changes Hands At WWE United Kingdom Tournament Event

NXT has new Tag Team Champions.

At the United Kingdom tournament event at Royal Albert Hall in London England, Roderick Strong and Kyle O’Reilly defended their NXT Tag Team Championship for the second time this week against Tyler Bate and Trent Seven (collectively known as Moustache Mountain). Bate and Seven defeated the Undisputed Era members to capture NXT gold.

Tyler Bate & Trent Seven, collectively known as Moustache Mountain, became the new NXT Tag Team Champions by defeating Undisputed ERA’s Roderick Strong & Kyle O’Reilly during today’s NXT U.K. Championship taping at London’s Royal Albert Hall. The win marks Bate & Seven’s first reign with the NXT tandem title.

On Saturday, O’Reilly and Strong successfully defended the NXT Tag Team Championship in a match against Danny Burch and Oney Lorcan at NXT Takeover Chicago.

O’Reilly, Strong, and Adam Cole have had some recent matches against Bate, Seven, and Pete Dunne over the past weeks including a six-man tag team match on Day 1 of the tournament.
