Cesaro Loses Teeth At No Mercy (Video)
Cesaro lost more than a championship match in Los Angeles.
WWE No Mercy was Cesaro and his tag team partner's chance to reclaim the Raw Tag Team Championship which they lost at WWE Summerslam. The match against Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins was hard hitting and fast paced. By the end of it, Cesaro was missing his front teeth.
The injury came about four minutes into the match, when Ambrose sling shot Cesaro into the turnbuckle. Cesaro's face collided with the large ring posts with LED screens. The match went on for at least ten more minutes when Ambrose pinned Sheamus for the victory. Cesaro was active throughout the match.
During the match, commentary made note of Cesaro's mouth and cameras showed his missing teeth. At one point, he placed Ambrose into a sharpshooter and faced the camera with a bloody face. The WWE Universe Twitter account tweeted the following image of Cesaro.

His tag-team partner also expressed his pride for Cesaro's fortitude.

WWE has steered away from blood before. At one point in the company's history, blood ended matches or the video would be played in black and white. Cesaro's blood was the second occurrence of blood being featured on WWE television recently. Two weeks ago, WWE President Vince McMahon bleed on Smackdown.
Fightful Wrestling provided live coverage for WWE No Mercy. There was also a Fightful Wrestling podcast after the event.
