Cesaro Beats The Pants Off Of Seth Rollins, Ricky Starks Slaps Brian Cage | Post-WWE/AEW Fight Size

Here is your post-AEW/WWE fight size update for Friday, June 11, 2021.

SmackDown:

– SmackDown opened with Jimmy Uso accusing Roman Reigns of intentionally causing a disqualification during he and Jey’s tag title match last week because he’s jealous that he might lose his right-hand man. Roman, watching from the back, didn’t take too kindly to the accusation and told Jey to deal with his brother.

Kevin Owens and Big E defeated Sami Zayn and Apollo Crews. The Intercontinental Champion refused to accept defeat, blaming it on Zayn. He then challenged Owens and Big E to match next week against himself and Commander Azeez. This will be Azeez’s first action since joining Crews ahead of WrestleMania 37.

– After losing to Carmella last week, Liv Morgan exacted some revenge, defeating the self-proclaimed most beautiful woman in WWE. Backstage, Morgan said that she knows that she is a future WWE Women’s Champion.

– Seth Rollins’ appearance on Bayley’s Ding Dong, Hello show was crashed by Cesaro. He attacked Rollins and threw him all over the set, literally leaving him laying with his pants around his ankles. Bianca Belair then came out and laughed at Bayley.

– Otis interrupted Chad Gable and Montez Ford’s match, laying a heavy beat down on the Street Profit. He also took out Angelo Dawkins backstage before he came to ringside. Ford was later transported to the hospital and is being evaluated.

– Shinsuke Nakamura defeated Baron Corbin and was able to once again walk away with the crown thanks to a helping hand from Rick Boogs. Corbin and Shinsuke will face off again next week, with the crown on the line.

– All Roman Reigns has ever known is how to be the best, and he is wondering why Jimmy would put his brother in a position where he has to choose between family members and potentially risk his spot at the top of the card.

Rey Mysterio called out Roman Reigns for his attack last week and challenged him to a match inside of Hell In A Cell. Before he could answer, however, Rey was handed a kendo stick and started swinging. Dominik joined in too, but Roman was able to fight them off as the show went off the air.

Dynamite:

– Christian Cage defeated Angelico to kick off Dynamite. He was attacked by Matt Hardy after the match and laid out with a Twist of Fate. Jungle Boy then came out and chased off the H.F.O. He and Christian teamed up at Double or Nothing to eliminated Hardy and Private Party from the Casino Battle Royal.

– AEW announced that their next four Dynamite Specials will happen in consecutive weeks this July.

– Next week, Cody Rhodes will team with a debuting Brock Anderson, the son of Arn, to take on QT Marshall and Aaron Solow. QT then came out and challenged Cody to a South Beach Strap Match on July 7, which Cody quickly accepted.

– PAC, Penta El Zero Miedo and Eddie Kingston defeated The Young Bucks and Brandon Cutler. PAC pinned Cutler, but the victors were attacked by The Bucks and Good Brothers after the match. They were eventually chased off by Frankie Kazarian. The Elite Hunter will team with Penta and Eddie next week to face Matt Jackson and The Good Brothers.

This was Brandon Cutler’s first match since early April due to injury.

– The Pinnacle addressed their Stadium Stampede loss but were interrupted by The Inner Circle, who destroyed their foes’ limousine.

Also of note, Wardlow accepted Jake Hager’s challenge to have an MMA Rules Cage Fight next week.

– Darby Allin refuses to find another tag team partner and will face Scorpio Sky and Ethan Page in a handicap match next week.

– With the rest of the Dark Order watching on, Miro defeated Evil Uno to retain the TNT Championship.

– After his surprise debut last week, Jim Ross with sit down with Andrade El Idolo next week for a one on one conversation.

– Lance Archer made very quick work of his opponent on Dynamite. Jake Roberts stayed by the entranceway and recorded the whole match on his phone.

– Nyla Rose defeated the #5 ranked competitor in the AEW Women’s Division, Leyla Hirsch.

– Despite only holding the title for two weeks, Dr. Britt Baker already sees herself as the most superior Women’s Champion AEW has ever had.

– Hangman Page and Dark Order’s 10 defeated Powerhouse Hobbs and Brian Cage in the main event of Dynamite. Cage refused to take advantage of a distraction, once again and was slapped by Ricky Starks for it.
