Cesar Duran Announces That He Has Made A Deal With Court Bauer To Be The Matchmaker In MLW

MLW has a new matchmaker.

Cesar Duran kicked of MLW’s Battle Riot III and made an announcement regarding his role within the promotion moving forward. The man behind Azteca Underground shared the following:

“I’ve promoted the best Luchas in the century. I’ve introduced you to the best Luchadors in the sport today. I’ve even created the most innovative matches of the century. I’ve reached an agreement with MLW by which my company, Azteca Underground, will promote fights for MLW. But wait, there is more. I’ve made a deal with Court Bauer to be your matchmaker in MLW.”

It was back at the beginning of May that Duran was revealed as the faction’s mysterious leader, operating in the shadows and pulling all of the strings. The former Lucha Underground proprietor said that he was building a temple, a sentiment that he reiterated to the crowd in Philadelphia.

Duran was then interrupted by Injustice (Myron Reed and Jordan Oliver) who requested a shot at the Tag Team Titles. They, in turn, were cut short by Konnan, who introduced the new LAX consisting of Rivera (Danny Limelight), Julius Smokes and Slice Boogie. A brawl quickly broke out between the two sides.
