Cedric Alexander Splits From Shelton Benjamin, Says He’s Done Trying To Keep Shelton’s Career Alive
Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin will tag team no more.
Just a couple of months ago, Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin were the WWE Raw Tag Team Champions. Following their loss to Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods, they would shortly thereafter be kicked out of The Hurt Business and each would become the victim of Bobby Lashley.
Alexander and Benjamin would then spend the rest of their time as a tag team putting over teams like Randy Orton and Matt Riddle, The Viking Raiders, and most recently, Lucha House Party.
Following the loss to Lucha House Party, Cedric Alexander would get on the mic and tell Shelton Benjamin that he is done with their tag team. Alexander would tell Benjamin that he is in the prime of his career and that he believes Shelton has wasted opportunities and he’s not going to spend any more of the prime of his life trying to keep Shelton’s alive.

Later, Benjamin would respond and say that he allowed Cedric to say his piece but he is a survivor and if Cedric isn’t careful, you will wind up being another fizzled-out star.
