Catch 2/2 (TJP & Francesco Akira) won NJPW Super Junior Tag League 2023, earning them a shot at the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Titles at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 18.
The titles are currently held by Bullet Club War Dogs (Drilla Moloney and Clark Connors).
Catch 2/2 defeated HOUSE OF TORTURE (SHO & Yoshinobu Kanemaru) in the finals of the tournament.
The finish saw Catch 2/2 hit a tandem knee on Kanemaru for the victory.
