Here is your post-AEW Dynamite fight size update for Wednesday, November 16, 2022.

– Ahead of AEW Full Gear, Claudio Castagnoli and Bryan Danielson teamed up to face ROH World Champion Chris Jericho and Sammy Guevara. In the closing moments, Jericho tried to use his bat, but Castagnoli disarmed him and made him tap out to the Scorpion Death Lock.

– AEW World Champion Jon Moxley sent a final message to MJF, saying that he thinks the self-proclaimed “generational talent” is just a guy who’s scared he won’t live up to the hype. The Firm attacked Moxley, but MJF came down to the ring and sent them running. He told Moxley that no matter what the champion does to him on Saturday, he won’t stop because he needs the title more than he needs air. Moxley fired back by saying that he doesn’t see “it” with MJF, but they’ll find out one way or another at Full Gear.

– Death Triangle (Rey Fenix, Penta Oscuro, and PAC) defended the AEW World Trios Championship against Top Flight (Dante and Darius Martin) and AR Fox. Darius returned to the ring for the first time in over 200 days after his leg injury, and all six men wowed the crowd. In the end, the champions retained, and they challenged the individuals behind the “Delete The Elite” vignettes to face them at Full Gear. I was then confirmed that Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks will return and challenge for the gold at the pay-per-view.

– Anna Jay A.S. delivered an impressive performance, but she couldn’t beat AEW Interim Women’s World Champion Toni Storm. After the bell, Jamie Hayter got in the champion’s face as tensions continued to rise ahead of their match at AEW Full Gear.

– Britt Baker had a passionate message for Saraya, just a few days before their clash at AEW Full Gear. She stated that she has become her own role model, and she is the heart and soul of AEW’s women’s division.

– Meanwhile, Saraya stated that she chose to come to AEW, and she’s tired of going back and forth with Baker, so she’d see her at AEW Full Gear.

– Samoa Joe explained why he turned on Wardlow, saying that the TNT Champion ignored the most dangerous man in the room throughout their alliance. Powerhouse Hobbs came to the stage, ready to fight Joe, but Wardlow started brawling with the reigning ROH World Television Champion. All three men brawled until they were separated. The broadcast team confirmed that Wardlow will defend the title against both men at AEW Full Gear.

Ethan Page defeated Bandido to advance to the finals of the AEW World Title Eliminator Tournament.

Captain Insano appeared in The Acclaimed’s new music video.

– Shane Strickland battled Anthony Bowens and attacked his arm throughout the bout. In the end, Strickland scored the win to gain more momentum heading into AEW Full Gear, where Bowens and Caster will defend the titles against Strickland and Keith Lee.

– Ricky Starks previewed his AEW World Title Eliminator Tournament match against Lance Archer.

– Eddie Kingston discussed his and Ortiz’s match against Jun Akiyama and Konosuke Takeshita on AEW Rampage.

– Sting stated that it’ll be showtime when he and Darby Allin face Jeff Jarrett and Jay Lethal at AEW Full Gear, but Jarrett said it’ll be the last time for Sting.

– Nyla Rose vowed to be TBS Champion Jade Cargill’s wake-up call at AEW Full Gear.

– In a tweet, Lance Archer shared his thoughts on his match with Ricky Starks.

– Swerve Strickland stated that Anthony Bowens and Max Caster will pay for their disrespect in body parts.
