Buddy Murphy Defending Cruiserweight Championship Against Cedric Alexander At WWE TLC, Updated Card
They will renew their rivalry once again.
Since arriving to 205 Live in January, former NXT Tag Team Champion Buddy Murphy has recreated his physique and move-set and is now looked at as “The Juggernaut” of 205 Live. Murphy was on the chase for the Cruiserweight Championship dating back to his initial arrival to the brand and after nearly ten months of chasing, he finally got the reward when he defeated Cedric Alexander at WWE Super-Show Down in his hometown of Melbourne, Australia to become WWE Cruiserweight Champion.

Since capturing the title Murphy has successfully defended the strap against Mustafa Ali at Survivor Series in November and now Murphy knows who his next challenger will be as 205 Live GM Drake Maverick revealed during a backstage segment with WWE.com that Murphy will defend the Cruiserweight Championship against Cedric Alexander at WWE TLC this Friday.
