Bryan Danielson Wins Bloody Death Match, Miro And CJ Come Face-To-Face | AEW Collision Fight Size

Here’s your fight size update following AEW Saturday Collision on September 23, 2023. 

– In a hellacious main event, Bryan Danielson defeated Ricky Starks in a bloody Texas Death Match. Danielson would win with a running knee while a chain wrapped around his knee. That knocked out Ricky for the count of 10. The show would go off the air with Big Bill and Wheeler Yuta checking on their respective partners. Starks continuously walked towards Danielson, indicating that this issue may not be resolved. 

– RVD and HOOK were successful in their first outing as a tag team, defeating Daddy Magic and Cool-Hand Ang. It is unknown when Rob Van Dam will be back in AEW, but HOOK, alongside Orange Cassidy, will be participating in a 4-Way Tag Team Match with high stakes at AEW WrestleDream. Learn more here.

– CJ Perry and Miro came face to face for the first time since AEW All Out. CJ again insisted that she was just trying to help her husband, but he has now solidified that they must walk their own paths. Her only request is that Miro not attack any of her prospective clients now that she will once again be a manager.

– FTR defeated The WorkHorsemen in a Tag Team Championship match. Afterward, they confronted the Aussie Open face-to-face, begging their challenges to bring their A-Game at AEW WrestleDream. 

– Jay White defeated Andrade El Idolo, thanks to some interference from “Rock Hard” Juice Robinson. Next week, Andrade looks to gain a measure of revenge against Robinson.

– Ortiz says that Santana will not be able to keep running from him.

– Julia Hart was able to make Kiera Hogan submit and then sprayed black mist in the eyes of Skye Blue. She was able to avoid Willow Nightingale for the night but must face Willow after sending her to the hospital on this Wednesday’s episode of AEW Dynamite. This is all leading to Julia having a TBS Title shot at AEW WrestleDream. 

– The Dark Order still appears to be recruiting. 

– In the opening match, Christian Cage finally captured the TNT championship for himself, but he must already defend it against Darby Allin in a 2-Out-of-3 Falls Bout at AEW WrestleDream. Learn more here.

– Shane Taylor wants Keith Lee to step in the ring with Lee Moriarty before they cross paths one-on-one. 

– Austin Gunn still doesn’t have a nickname, but he is looking toward the music of Creed to help him through.
