Bryan Danielson gives an update on his condition.
At AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door, Bryan Danielson revealed that he believed he suffered a fractured forearm during his main event bout against Kazuchika Okada. Danielson said that the injury happened with about ten minutes left in the match after Okada hit a top rope elbow and Danielson’s arm was in the wrong place.
Danielson said he thought he would be out for six to eight weeks.
Taking to social media, Danielson revealed he underwent successful surgery two weeks ago where they put a steel rod and nine screws in his arm. He said he’s on the road to recovery but didn’t provide a timetable on when he may return.
Also, to give everyone an update before #AEWDynamite, I got surgery on my arm about two weeks ago, where they put in a steel rod and 9 screws. Surgery went well and I’m on the road to recovery. Thank you all for the support, and check out #BloodAndGuts tonight! pic.twitter.com/6lKHsZk65f
