Bryan Danielson Gives It His All, Miro Confronts CJ Perry Again, Kenny Omega Wins | AEW Fight Size

Here is your fight size update following AEW Collision on December 9, 2023.

– The AEW Continental Classic Tournament continued on December 9. Eddie Kingston was able to pick up his first victory in the tournament, defeating his old rival Claudio Castagnoli.

In the main event, Adrade El Idolo unleashed a fiery rage on Bryan Danielson, targeting the injured eye. After the match, Andrade tried to check on Danielson as did the other members of the Blackpool Combat Club, who came out to check on their fallen brother.

Fightful Select previously reported that the injury to Danielson that occurred during this match was part of the storyline again.

There was more tension between CJ Perry and Miro on December 9 with Miro making it clear that he wants to be the only breadwinner in his house and that once the Continental Classic Tournament is over, he has his sights set on Andrade.

– Despite his best efforts, Ethan Page ultimately lost to Kenny Omega on December 9. After the match, Onega was attacked by Big Bill. Omega and Chris Jericho still have the right to challenge Big Bill and Ricky Starks for the Tag Team Championship whenever they so choose.

– A vignette covered the growing issues between Julia Hart and Abadon and featured perhaps Abadon’s first words ever spoken on AEW TV.

– Komander and Penta El Zero Miedo defeated Matt Menard & Angelo Parker.

– Willow Nightingale defeated Mercedes Martinez. After the match, Diamante and Mercedes attacked Willow with weapons but she was saved by Kris Statlander.

– A vignette briefly hyped the upcoming match between Shane Taylor and Keith Lee at ROH Final Battle.

– Wardlow continued on the warpath with the victory over Willie Mack.
