Bruce Prichard Thinks Kurt Angle And Ken Shamrock Would’ve Had Instant Chemistry As Opponents
Bruce Prichard talks Ken Shamrock vs. Kurt Angle dream match.
On paper, Kurt Angle vs. Ken Shamrock seems like it would have been a perfect match. Both competitors bring an aura of realism to the entertainment world of professional wrestling, Kurt with his Olympic background and Ken Shamrock with his history in the UFC. Through the years, Kurt Angle would adopt the ankle lock submission hold made famous in WWE by Ken Shamrock, but ultimately, they would never be in the same promotion long enough to work a program with one another.
Bruce Prichard recently discussed how he feels a Kurt Angle-Ken Shamrock match would have gone and says that the two would have had an instant chemistry, believing they would not have even needed to discuss anything before.
“I think that would have been great. I think that they would have had instant chemistry. Kurt Angle and Ken Shamrock, man, just let them go. They wouldn’t have to discuss a damn thing, and I think that they would make beautiful music together. Unfortunately, that will never happen, but it would have been great. I would have liked to have seen that,” Prichard says on a recent Something to Wrestle podcast.
Kurt Angle vs. Ken Shamrock is possible in the Beloved WWE No Mercy game for the Nintendo 64. One of Kurt Angle’s first WWE video game appearances, Ken Shamrock is an unlockable character in the 2000 video game.
