Brian Myers Re-Signs With IMPACT Wrestling Through 2023

Brian Myers will continue to make an IMPACT.

Brian Myers announced that he extended his contract with IMPACT Wrestling through 2023.

“This was an easy decision for me,” Myers told Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated. “It’s a place where my talent is going to get the most opportunity. That’s what is important to me. I think what we do in the ring is so precious. Father Time is eventually going to get us all, but I don’t want to stop doing what I’m doing until I have to. This is very important to me.”

Along with being an on-screen performer with IMPACT, Myers is part of the Major Wrestling Figure brand with Matt Cardona and runs Create A Pro Wrestling with Pat Buck.

“One of my goals for 2023 is to get a Create A Pro talent with me at Impact Wrestling,” said Myers. “[AEW owner] Tony Khan has scooped up every single one so far, but I’d like to get to the point where there is a Create A Pro talent in every promotion, starting with Impact.”

Myers returned to IMPACT Wrestling in July 2020 after he was released by WWE in April 2020.

Fightful provides live coverage of IMPACT every Thursday beginning at 8 p.m. ET followed by a post-show podcast on our YouTube channel.
