Brian Myers To Challenge For IMPACT World Title, Trinity To Compete, More Set For 8/24 IMPACT On AXS

Five big-time bouts are set for the final episode of IMPACT before IMPACT Emergence on August 27.

Should Alex Shelley be able to get by Hiroshi Tanahashi at IMPACT x NJPW Multiverse United 2, he will have to defend his championship against Brian Myers on the August 24 episode of IMPACT on AXS. 

Myers was awarded this opportunity after going to Santino Marella and asking for a championship opportunity, which the champion agreed to. 

Also set for August 24, Chris Sabin will be in action against Samuray Del Sol, formerly Kalisto in WWE. This match was agreed upon after both men faced off backstage. 

Plus, August 24 sees Trinity take on Jody Threat, Deaner go one-on-one with Laredo Kid, and ABC (Ace Austin & Chris Bey) square off against The Good Hands (John Skyler & Jason Hotch).
