Bret Hart Names CM Punk As The Best Overall Wrestler (Other Than Himself)
Bret Hart has high praise for CM Punk.
Bret is renowned as being one of the best in-ring wrestlers of all-time and is constantly praised by the current generation for his ability in the ring, but overall as well.
Speaking on CBC Radio, Bret answered a series of rapid fire questions and when he was asked who the best overall wrestler is (aside from himself), Bret named CM Punk.
Here were Bret’s other answers during the quick hit questions:
Favorite Opponent To Work With – Mr. Perfect
Favorite Move (Non-Sharpshooter) – Front Turnbuckle Bump
Favorite Canadian – Owen Hart
Favorite Foreign Object – Ring Bell
Better Rivalry: Shawn Michaels or Steve Austin – Steve Austin, by a hair
Better Arena: Madison Square Garden or Calgary Saddledome – MSG. Calgary was a quiet crowd, always quiet and studios, which was great. They studied me and were big fans of mine, but Madison Square Garden were longtime and educated fans and loved a good wrestler.
Favorite Win – First WWE Title win in Saskatoon against Ric Flair
Favorite Loss – WrestleMania 12 Iron Man Match against Shawn Michaels
Bret was recently honored in his home country as he was inducted into the 2021 Walk of Fame.
