Breakout Tournament Finals And Breezango vs. Forgotten Sons Set For 8/14 NXT
Two matches set for post-TakeOver NXT.
On last night’s episode of NXT it was announced that the Breakout Tournament Final between Jordan Myles (formerly ACH) and Cameron Grimes (formerly Trevor Lee) will take place on next week’s episode. The match was originally thought to be held at NXT TakeOver: Toronto. The winner of the Breakout Tournament will receive a title shot of their choosing. Grimes beat Bronson Reed (formerly Jonah Rock) and Isaiah “Swerve” Scott (formerly Shane Strickland) to earn his spot in the finals. On the other side of the bracket, Myles defeated Boa and Angel Garza (formerly Garza Jr.) for his position in the finals.
Also announced for next week’s episode is a tag team bout that pits Breeazngo (Tyler Breeze & Fandango) against The Forgotten Sons (Steve Cutler & Wesley Blake). Fandango returned to television on the July 31 episode of NXT, saving Breeze from a beatdown at the hands of The Forgotten Sons.
