Braun Strowman comments on having surgery.
Strowman reportedly suffered a concussion in late April, and while he returned to the ring on the May 1 episode of WWE Raw, he hasn’t wrestled since. PWInsider reported on May 30 that Strowman was sidelined with an unspecified injury.
In a post on Instagram, Strowman confirmed that he had fusion surgery on his C4/C5 vertebrae. He thanked WWE for taking care of its roster and noted that it was scary to find out he needed surgery, but the company was there for him every step of the way. Strowman wrote that it will take some time to heal, but he’ll be back.
The post can be seen below:
Road to recovery starts now!!!! Level one #fusion on my c4/c5 #vertebrae was in the great hands of #DrCordover at @andrews_sports_medicine was a great experience considering. Thank you to @wwe for always taking the up most care of us. This was very scary to find out about having to have done and they were there every step of the way reassuring that I was going to have the best care possible. This will take a little bit of time to heal from. But I assure you ( in the words of the #Terminator ) I’ll be back!!!! Thank you all in advance for the well wishes.
Much Love

Prior to his injury, Strowman had been teaming up with Ricochet, and they were selected by Raw during the 2023 WWE Draft.
Fightful will provide more information as it becomes available, and we wish Braun the best in his recovery.
