Braun Strowman Thinks He And Drew McIntyre Can Main Event WrestleMania For The Universal Title

Braun Strowman shows respect for Drew McIntyre.

“The Monster Among Men” Braun Strowman was originally set for the 2019 men’s Money In The Bank Ladder match. This past week on RAW in London, Sami Zayn defeated Strowman in a singles match with the help of Baron Corbin and Drew McIntyre and with that win, Sami took Strowman’s spot in Money In The Bank.

Braun emerged victorious from last year’s Money In The Bank match and although he and Drew McIntyre have been at odds for months and Drew is a part of the reason why he is not in this year’s match, Braun spoke highly of “The Scottish Terminator” during an interview with ‘The Sun’. Strowman picked McIntyre to be the winner of the Money In The Bank match and added that he can surely see himself and Drew main-eventing WrestleMania for the Universal Championship.

“I don’t see anybody stopping Drew McIntyre from climbing up that ladder and taking that briefcase. He’s been a constant thorn in my side and probably one, if not, the greatest adversary I’ve had in pretty much the last eight to ten months. The Claymore kick is not a fun thing to take to the face.” Strowman said. “I could 100% see myself and Drew McIntyre main-eventing WrestleMania for the Universal Championship for years to come. He’s someone that I’ve been chomping at the bit to get him to go one on one with. I haven’t had a one on one match with him yet without any kind of interference without some backhanded B.S. that goes along with that group of those guys that are running around together right now. So if [there is] opportunity for the Monster versus the Scottish psychopath, I think no matter where you put it, we’re going to sell the arena out, people are going to be in for a fight. Look at him, he’s an absolute hulk of a human being, he’s athletic, he’s gigantic. I mean, he’s got it all. It’s no surprise at all that he’s climbed right back up the ladder after taking a hiatus from WWE, going out around the world, honing his craft, sharpening his tools, and coming back.” Strowman said.

Braun Strowman will be in action next month in Saudi Arabia at WWE Super ShowDown as the company has announced that he’ll clash with Bobby Lashley at the event.
