Matthew and Nicholas Jackson attacked Darby Allin and Sting after they won the AEW World Tag Team Championship on the February 7 episode of AEW Dynamite. Adam Copeland and Eddie Kingston both addressed their actions on the February 10 episode of AEW Collision. Copeland said it would not have happened if he had been there, and he issued Matthew and Nicholas a warning. Meanwhile, Kingston called the attack disgusting.
Brandon Cutler subsequently took to Twitter/X to drop his latest report, in which he cited sources who said that Copeland and Kingston have been rubbing talent the wrong way for speaking out of turn. Cutler cited one reliable source who said that they would stay in their own lane if they were Kingston and Copeland.
