Brandi Rhodes: I Plan On Continuing My In-Ring Career
Brandi Rhodes will return to the ring at some point.
Brandi hasn’t wrestled since January when she competed on AEW Dark: Elevation, after returning to the ring in December 2021 following her pregnancy. Brandi has since left AEW, but she continues to train and plans to return to the ring at some point.
“I’m still training all of the time,” she told Muscle & Fitness. “People can connect the dots and make of that what they will. I will tell you; I wouldn’t be training and getting beat up (laughs) just for the hell of it, so obviously I do plan to continue my in-ring career. When and where? That is yet to be seen but I hope when it does happen, everybody is happy and proud.”
Brandi and Cody Rhodes left AEW in February. Cody returned to WWE at WrestleMania 38 when he was the mystery opponent for Seth Rollins.
On July 10, Fightful published the following report regarding Brandi:
Brandi Rhodes has remained in the ring training, though she’s not had a match since January. Based on those we’ve talked to, there is a “cordial” relationship and multiple things have been discussed.
Among those things is a potential partnership with KultureCity, of which Brandi Rhodes is a board member. One of Brandi’s first deals as CBO of AEW was making that connection, which remains to this day.
Brandi also started her Brandi on the Rocks series, though has only published one episode.
Cody is currently sidelined after undergoing surgery to repair his torn pec. You can learn more about his recovery by clicking here.
